Parking
There is a dedicated Bistronomy lot, available after 6 PM located on the
corner of Spring and Coming at 232 Coming Street. You MUST text to
park and pay the charge, BUT don’t worry, we will validate 100% of the
cost, just follow the instructions on the sign. Please note that any cars left
in the lot at the end of the evening are subject to being towed at the owner’s
expense. Street parking is also available on Spring, Coming, and St. Philip
Streets, with a 2-hour parking limit. Alternatively, the public parking garage
Midtown Garage is available 2 blocks away at the Hyatt Place Hotel close
to the corner of Spring and King Streets (558 King Street).
Pets Are Not Permitted
Service dogs are trained to do work or perform a task for persons with
disabilities. Comfort and/or emotional support are not service animals, and
are not recognized by the ADA. Thank you for your cooperation.
Convenience Fee
All checks paid by card are subject to a 2.5% convenience fee. The fee
will be removed on cash payments.
Corkage Fee
$25 per bottle
Tax Information
South Caroline & Charleston County Sales & Hospitality Taxes
As required by Charleston County, we include the following taxes in your final bill:
Retail Sales Tax
Total: 9%
6% – SC State Sales Tax
1% – Charleston County Local Option Sales Tax (Voted on by county taxpayers.)
1% – Charleston County Infrastructure & Greenbelt
1% – Charleston County School Improvement Tax
Additional Hospitality & Liquor Taxes
Restaurants: 2% hospitality tax on food and beverages (11% total tax)
Hotels: 4% additional tax on lodging (2% state, 2% local, 13% total tax)
Liquor: 5% excise tax on liquor sales, collected at the point of sale.
We are required by law to collect and remit these taxes on behalf of Charleston County and the state of South Carolina, and they are in place to support local infrastructure and community initiatives.
